A Whieldon style creamware jug, c. 1770, after a silver shape original. The bellied cream jug, decorated with moulded grape and vine scroll, standing on three mask and paw feet, and having a loop handle. Covered in a ‘tortoiseshell’ glaze.
Height - 9.3 cm, 3 5/8”.
Condition - Chip to spout, and wear to the glaze. Please see images for details. No restoration.
