An early 1900s French striking repeating 8-day carriage clock, the corniche-style case newly regilded.

The perfect white enamel dial has subtle grey Arabic numerals, in the typical Art Nouveau-period style of script. The numerals sit within an outer minute track. An angled gilt rectangular border to the dial fills the gap where usually there is a void.

The 8-day striking and repeating movement strikes the hours and the passing of the half hour on a gong. Depressing the button on the top of the case will repeat the last hour struck. It retains its original silvered platform.

Matching gilt fleur-de-lys lancet hands.

Height: 6¾ inches with the carrying handle up.

To be overhauled and guaranteed for 3 years.
