An Art Deco vintage wristwatch by Rolex made in 1926.
The silver tonneau shaped case is marked “7 World’s Records” and “Gold Medal, Geneva - Suisse”. The hinged silver case hallmarked for Glasgow Import into the United Kingdom in 1926.
15-Jewel movement signed Rolex and Swiss made.
Silvered engine turned sunburst dial with black stylised Art Deco numerals and red 12. black minute chapter. Blued steel hands.
Case, movement and dial signed.
Case Measurements:
Length (lug to lug): 35mm
Width (at widest) : 25mm.
Width (at narrowest) : 20mm.
All watches are given a full thorough service. They are stripped down to their individual parts, thoroughly checked for any obvious wear and tear, cleaned, re-oiled, reassembled and regulated. The final result is that the case, dial and movement are in pristine condition.
