This is a very nice miniature carriage clock which can be dated to the last quarter of the 19th Century and is decorated with beautiful Champleve enamel panels.
The 8 day timepiece movement is in perfect working order having been professionally cleaned and bears the manufacturers stamp of Brunelot. It is of excellent quality and retains its original silvered cylinder platform escapement.
The Obis case style is decorated with beautiful Champleve enamel panels to the side and dial. Importantly they are in perfect , undamaged condition. The hands are finely pierced and the dial silvered (showing a little tarnish)
The overall condition is lovely . Any tiny marks and imperfections are hugely exaggerated in the images due to the high magnification. In normal use it virtually cannot be seen.
The images should show prospective buyers all they need to see but a personal inspection is very welcome.
The clock is 2 3/4 inches tall ,handle down and 3 3/4 with the handle raised. It is 2 inches wide and 1 3/4 deep
Although I provide detailed photographs to the best of my ability this clock really needs to be personally viewed to appreciate to quality.
