A good size classical Georgian style Mahogany bracket clock made in the late 19th Century. The arched case has a heavy loop brass handle and silk lined brass side and quarter frets. The convex painted enamel dial has a convex glass with a cast brass bezel. The heavily engineered 8 day chain fusee movement strikes the hours on a gong. This clock signifies the final stage of quality English clockmaking.
The case is in excellent original condition, the brass frets have been relined with red silk to match the original. The dial has been restored, the movement has been fully serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like a video clip of this clock striking please email us.
