A smart occasional or centre table in mahogany from the Art Deco period. It has a circular top and column is raised on tapering sabre legs in the style of Jules Leleu. It retains its original and pioneering black Vitrolite top.

Circa 1930s-50s
This piece has been fully restored using traditional methods and with no corners cut. Old polish is removed and the shellac replaced, to this layers of wax are added and the process is completed with a final burnishing. This technique gives pieces a much deeper, richer and more long lasting finish while allowing the underlying veneers to come through in the most vibrant way.
