A George III period antique brass mounted mahogany bracket clock by this London maker.
The bell-top case is crowned with four acorn finials. The brass mounts are extremely decorative with foliate caryatids framing the corners, swags along the bell top and sun bursts with a central putti head to the side frets.

The 7 in (18 cm) wide break arch brass dial is mounted with a silvered chapter ring, silvered strike/silent ring in the arch and rococo spandrels and is signed by the maker in a recessed cartouche. The eight day duration twin fusée movement has five pillars with verge escapement and rack strike sounded on a bell.
John Turner is recorded as working in the City of London, c.1780-1794
