This fine antique Flora Danica dinner service comprises 41 pieces, all ornamented with gilt rims and unique botanical decorations. Each piece bears marks for Royal Copenhagen and shape numbers to their underside.
The set comprises:

- 2 lidded soup tureens: height 22cm, width 33.5cm, depth 21cm
- 2 large reticulated plates: height 3.5cm, depth 26.5cm
- 1 large bowl: height 5cm, diameter 21cm
- 1 small lidded sugar bowl: height 8cm, diameter 11cm
- 1 triangle shaped pickle dish with lid and plate: height 9cm, depth 10cm
- 2 lidded custard cups with stands: height 9cm, diameter 10cm
- 1 gravy boat: height 5cm, width 17.5cm, depth 10cm
- 1 milk jug: height 7cm, width 8.5cm, depth 5.5cm
- 15 tea cups: height 6.5 - 8cm
- 15 saucers: diameter 11.5 - 13.5cm

Danish manufacturer Royal Copenhagen made the first Flora Danica service as a gift for Catherine the Great of Russia in the 18th Century, and the service was decorated after the illustrations from a botanical dictionary commissioned in 1761 by King Frederik V of Denmark, from which the name 'Flora Danica' also originates.
