An extensive 18th century creamware dessert set hand-painted with sprays of colorful flowers. Decorated with a beautiful claret colored shell edge rim. Made in England by Neale and Co., circa 1780. It is rare to find a large 18th century creamware service intact. This service is extremely rare. During our over fifty years in business we have only once come across this pattern. The reverse impressed with the mark: NEALE & CO.
The service comprises: 24 dessert dishes, a pair sauce tureens in the shape of melons resting on a leaf, two of pairs of small tazzas with stands, two deep oval dishes, a pair of baskets with rope handles and stands, and a pair ovals (42 pieces).
The dessert dishes measure 8.70inches diameter.

Excellent: The cover of one sauce tureen has some invisible restoration
